Our Paperwork Checklist
Our Finance Paperwork Checklist in Eugene, OR
Wondering which documents you should have with you when visiting our finance office? You’re in good hands. We’ve compiled a list of important paperwork you’ll need to collect before heading to the dealership. To ensure the process is efficient and hassle-free, keep reading below:
What to Bring When I’m Buying or Leasing
1. Driver’s license.
If you’ve test-driven a car with us before, we should have your driver’s license on file — but be sure to bring it with you as we’ll need to confirm your identity.
2. Social security number.
We’ll need your social security number to comply with tax laws, so don’t forget to bring this information with you. The law requires dealerships to disclose any financial transaction exceeding $10,000 to the IRS.
3. Proof of car insurance.
Whether you buy or lease from us, you’ll need to show proof of insurance for your vehicle. All 50 states have laws that require drivers to possess some form of car insurance before they’re able to drive their new ride off the lot.
4. Wallet or checkbook.
This one is pretty straightforward! You’ll need a method of payment for your new Hyundai or used vehicle. Our finance department offers several convenient options so you can have a seamless transaction: financing, cash, credit card or cashier’s check.
5. Proof of employment, residence and salary.
Please provide several pieces of mail showing your name and address, along with some pay stubs.
