Our customers at Hyundai Eugene love their new Hyundai models. From the Hyundai SmartSense network to America’s Best Warranty, peace of mind comes standard with every new Hyundai purchase. Add to that Hyundai Roadside Assistance, a program that offers five years and unlimited miles of coverage. Coverage is effective from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into service (in-service date), whichever is earlier. Hyundai owners can feel even more confident behind the wheel, knowing that in an emergency situation, Hyundai operatives will respond quickly and efficiently to meet their needs.
Services Provided
Every new Hyundai includes five years of complimentary Roadside Assistance. While we can’t promise every driving experience will be worry-free — for example, if you’re helping a teen practice for their driving exam — you can be sure that we’ll send help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for the following services:
- Towing
- Trip Interruption
- Keys Locked in Vehicle
- Flat Tire
- Dead Battery
- Out of Gas
Towing
No matter where you are, Hyundai Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle to the nearest Hyundai dealership or authorized service facility if your vehicle is inoperable. This service applies even for non-warranty-related tows, such as accidents.
Trip Interruption
If you are more than 150 miles away from home when a warrantable mechanical disablement occurs and your car is disabled overnight due to a repair in process, Hyundai Roadside Assistance will reimburse you for reasonable expenses such as meals, lodging and transportation.
Connected Care: Enhanced Roadside Assistance
If your new Hyundai is equipped with Bluelink® Connected Care, calling for help is as simple as pushing a button on your rearview mirror. There’s no need to figure out what street you’re on — Bluelink® can give your exact location to a Roadside Assistance associate. If your model is not equipped with Bluelink® Connected Care, call 1-800-243-7766 to speak with a real person 24/7.
Tips for Calling
We want to make your phone experience as seamless as possible. When you call 1-800-243-7766 for Roadside Assistance, please provide the following:
- Your name
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) (located on the driver’s side dashboard)
- Vehicle mileage
- Vehicle location
- Description of your vehicle’s problem

The Hyundai Roadside Assistance program does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labor, property loss, or any other expenses incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism, or other items not covered by the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Also excluded are services for snow tires, repairs to studs, mounting or demounting of snow chains, any fines, fees, or taxes associated with impound towing as a result of any actual or alleged violation of any law or regulation. Hyundai Motor America reserves the right to limit services or reimbursement to any owner or driver when, in Hyundai Motor America’s judgment, the claims are excessive in nature, frequency, or type of occurrence.
Hyundai Roadside Assistance services are provided through the American Automobile Association, Inc., Heathrow, FL, and its affiliated motor clubs, which are independent contractors of Hyundai Motor America. Hyundai Motor America makes no guarantee or warranty regarding the services provided by the American Automobile Association, Inc. and its clubs, and is not liable for the actions of their employees or subcontractors. Hyundai Motor America reserves the right to limit services or reimbursement to any owner or driver when, in Hyundai Motor America’s judgment, the claims are excessive in nature, frequency or type of occurrence.
